Jackie Gerstung brings a dedication to excellence to her role as Director of Operations. Since joining the team in 2022, she has been pivotal in driving growth and fostering collaboration and innovation for Team VNFA. She believes in the power of clear, proactive communication and understands that transparency and alignment are key to achieving exceptional results and making a positive impact on clients’ lives.
While attending Tyler Jr. College and the University of Houston, Jackie learned valuable lessons in adaptability, how to learn, and how to live. Prior to joining VNFA, she sharpened her leadership skills as a Branch Manager at PNC and excelled as a Software Sales Executive, specializing in solutions for banks and financial institutions. Her accomplishments include building a reputation for rapid growth, tackling new challenges, and contributing meaningfully to teams and company goals.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jackie is committed to mentoring others and creating supportive environments that empower individuals to reach their full potential. She is inspired by her daughter, whose determination and resilience in overcoming challenges serve as a daily reminder of true strength. “You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step,” said Martin Luther King, Jr., which guides her approach to both life and career, and she encourages everyone to focus on continuously learning and growing as they navigate their career paths.
Jackie is married with two adult children and a puppy named Sandy. She enjoys fishing, gardening, birdwatching, and Mexican food. Looking ahead, she aims to continue advancing her career, help shape strategic decisions to drive VNFA’s success, and eventually retire to Florida.
