January 2016 – Valley National Financial Advisors announced that Megan Gerhart has joined the company as Tax Accountant / Financial Planning Professional.

Mae will work in Valley National’s Bethlehem office preparing tax returns and providing financial planning support for advisors and their clients.

“Mae will be a great addition to our already stellar group of tax and financial planning professionals,” said Thomas Riddle, President. “She has already hit the ground running and we are very excited about the impact she will have our growing business.”

Mae has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Arts in both Accounting & Finance. She comes to Valley National with more than six years of experience in tax and finance. A native of Quakertown, Mae currently resides in Lansdale with her husband and son.

Mae is currently the GenY Region 2 Coordinator for the American Mensa Society. In this role she engages the Mensa age group 18-40 across several states. She is also involved with a number of industry organizations, including the Financial Planning Association and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA). Mae spends her free time tinkering with electronics, tending to her indoor garden and spending time with her family.
